At home, you get respect by listening to your parents, doing a bit of work around the house, doing your chores and helping your parents out. At school, some ways to gain respect is to be nice to your teachers, respect other students and staff, don't talk back, do all your work, classwork and homework, and following the Golden Rule, which is treat others the way you want to be treated. In clubs or teams, you gain respect by helping out, joining activities, do something not just sitting there looking stupid. The way you gain respect with friends is to treat them like family. Never talk behind their backs because it's going to get to them one way or another. Treat everyone else like you treat yourself.
