I think the most reasonable case is " Poe's death is rewritten as case of rabies. not telltale alcohol". All the other ones had to do with elephatightas. Poe refused alcohol and could drink water only with great difficulty.
It explained it very well. like the theorys is the alcoholism. he had problems drinking alcohol so he drank water most of the time. the problem with that is he could only prevent it onlyonce in a while. but when he did drink the next days he became very ill.
In conclusion i think this artical is the best one. Explaing how, and why he died. His time was scheduled.
