I think that Edgar Allan Poe died from drinking alcohol. I think that cause it seems that the doctors in the alcohol situation have more information then the ones in the rabies situation
In one of the phrases the doctors say that when Poe was awake and calm the offered Poe some more alcohol but he rufused so he drank water but in most situations poeple with rabies have difficulty drinking water because it hurts there throats and that after a couple of days Poe was really pale and was sweating a lot.
