Nicholle Hiatt Final Exam Main Idea

The main idea is if you really loved somebody that you would do anything for them. The story tells about a women and her husbun. The women wants to get her husbun something nice for christmas. But doesn't have the money to. After setting there for about 20 minutes or so she goes to the mirror and puts down her hair. Then she decides she knows how to get the money to get her husbun something for christmas. The most prized possessions of there lifes are Dellas hair and Jims watch. So Della goes and gets her hiar cut for $20. Then she goes and gets a chain for Jims watch. Della doesn't know yet that Jim had sold his watch to get Della something for christmas. So the both sold there prized possessions to get eachother something for christmas. That is why i think if u love someone that you are willing to give anything up for them. And that is why I think it is the main idea.
