Poe's death could have been a combination of alcohol and rabies. That's my opinion. If you take a look there isn't that much evidence to be sure on what it is. Poe could of drank for so many years, that he got bit one night with out even noting. Or Poe could of had a one time drinking experience to where he gotten rabies. But no one really knows what happen.


Poe should have gone to the doctor when he first got the symptoms. The symptoms that he got where clearly similar to people that have rabies. Like talking out loud and calling peoples names. He probably didn't like water because of the amount of alcohol that he had. But to each his own.


In many ways, I think he could of still been alive. If Poe would of made smarter choices. But alcohol makes you have another mind set. So Poe's minded wasn't in the right. I think that he died from alcohol and rabies. But one will never know because of the lack of evidence.
