The other theory that the the article thinks is false, is dead from alcohol poisoning. In this article they explained evidence from both sides of the story, from what they had.
on the theory of Poe died from alcohol posing hear are some pieces of evidence. the first piece of evidence the have that he died from alcohol poisoning is he was seen at a bar in an other persons clothes, a couple hour's before he ended up in the hospital. At the hospital he was reported shouting violently at people and imaginary people. Another piece of evidence that Poe got couldn't have died from rabies is he never reported being bitten by any type of animal. Also in the article it says that Poe was so sensitive to alcohol that a glass of wine would make him violently ill for days.
The other theory was that he died from rabies. These are some pieces of evidence that the article gave us. Poe was reported hallucinating and getting angry and shouting at people and imaginary people. This was a sign of rabies. Another sign of evidence is Poe would hesitate to drink any water, this is a classic sign of rabies. Rabies victimises get scared to drink any water , because it hurts to swallow. There are other theory's or rumors on how Poe might of died. Me personally I think that maybe he drank but most likely died from Rabies. there is no proof on how Poe really died!
