Mayra Medina-Final Exam Summary :)

In the story "Gift of the Magi", there is a young lady named Della. Della lives with her boyfriend/husband, Jim. It is Christmas and Della has only one dollar and eighty seven cents to buy a gift for Jim. She sells her hair for twenty dollars. Jim ends up selling his own prized possesion, his watch. That watch was passed on to his father by his grandfather. And now he has it. Christmas time is here, and Della is home cooking. Jim comes home to find an almost bald Della. Della then recieves a gift from Jim. Della opens the present, and finds it to be a set of valubale combs. She can't comb her hair. Della then gives Jim her gift. She tells him to give her his watch so she could put the chain on it. Jim tells her he sold it. That Christmas ends up to be rubbish for them. The End :D
